Dsi Software Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Jia Sarai, over at 27-D. If you know the area, you know it is always packed with students and people on the move. We’ve been working from this spot in New Delhi for a while now. We do software work, which mostly means a lot of sitting in front of screens and trying to figure out why code isn't doing what it is supposed to. It is not a flashy tech office like you see in movies. It is just a room with several computers and a bunch of cables running across the floor. We are not a giant company with hundreds of employees. We are just a small group of people who know how to build things with computers. Some days are long, and we end up eating snacks at our desks while trying to finish a project. The neighborhood is lively, which helps when we need a break from the monitors. We don't really do much in terms of self-promotion. Most of the work we get comes from people who heard about us from someone else. We just focus on the task and try to get it finished without too many bugs. It is a practical way to run a business. We don’t have fancy coffee machines or lounge areas, just our workbenches and our tools. It works for us, and it has been working for our clients too, so we just keep at it every day.
