We are based over in Lado Sarai, specifically at 154/2, which is a very busy part of New Delhi. Deolalikar Consultant (P) Ltd has been operating from this specific spot for some time now. Lado Sarai has a very specific feel to it with all the art and design shops, and we fit right in with the mix of offices and workshops around here. Our office isn't anything spectacular to look at from the outside, but inside there is always a lot going on with various projects. We do a lot of consulting work which involves a fair bit of technical thinking and sitting around a table debating the best way to move a plan forward. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of all the construction nearby, but that is just how life in Delhi is. We don't use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone with a polished corporate image. We just show up, do the work, and try to make sure our clients get what they actually came for. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking over documents to make sure every little thing is in order. It is a steady pace of work. We have grown used to the rhythm of this neighborhood over the years. People stop by, we have some tea, and we talk about the technical requirements of whatever project is on the desk that day. It is just a practical way to run a business.
