Our place is over at Plot No 1A, which is part of that KH No 810-812 patch in Mahipalpur Extension. We are on the second floor, specifically the side to the right, in Block K-II. It is a pretty normal office, nothing like those fancy glass buildings you see in Gurgaon. The stairs are a bit narrow and you might have to watch your step when you are coming up. We have a few desks pushed together and some old chairs that we probably should have replaced last year. The light comes in through the side window in the afternoon, which makes it quite hot if the fan isn't on full speed. We spend most of our time here just doing what needs to be done. Sometimes the internet acts up because of the rain or some work on the street outside. People often get confused with the block numbers around here because they aren't marked very clearly. We usually just tell them to look for the big shop on the corner and then turn. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea throughout the day. It gets a bit loud with the traffic from the main road nearby, but after being here for a few months, you stop noticing it. Most of us have been working together for a while, so it is a relaxed atmosphere, even when there is a lot of work piled up. It is just a small group of us trying to make things work in this part of Delhi.
