Data Enterprises

You can find Data Enterprises over at F-246 in the Flatted Factory Complex in Okhla. It’s a huge area with so many units that it’s easy to get lost if you don’t know the way. Our space is one of the many industrial units where the work never seems to stop. There’s always the sound of heavy vehicles loading and unloading in the yard downstairs. Inside our unit, it’s mostly functional. We have benches for sorting and a few desks for the paperwork side of things. The walls are a bit stained from years of use, and the windows are high up. It’s an honest place. We handle a lot of data-related hardware and parts, so there are usually crates and bubble wrap lying around. The staff here has been together for a long time, so we have a rhythm. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or leather sofas. We just focus on the tasks at hand. Okhla is a dusty place, and by the end of the day, everything has a thin layer on it. We usually share a pot of tea in the afternoon while looking over the shipping logs. It’s hard work, but we like the bustle of the factory complex. It feels like everyone around us is also busy making or moving something. We just lock up the heavy doors at night and head home.
