Daawat Green Park

Running Daawat Green Park has been our life for quite some time now. You’ll find us at Green Park Sri Aurbindo Marg A 3. It’s right in the middle of Green Park, which is a place we’ve always liked. Our spot is pretty straightforward. Cooking food that we like to eat ourselves is what we do. It’s mostly local stuff, nothing too experimental. The kitchen is always busy, especially around dinner time. Sometimes the wait for a table is a bit long, but the speed is as fast as we can manage. Five-star hotels aren't what we are trying to be. It's just a regular eatery for people who want a decent meal. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the menu is just a simple list on paper. Ingredients are sourced from the local markets nearby. My brother and I started this together because working for ourselves sounded good. It’s hard work, standing on your feet all day, but seeing people enjoy the food makes it okay. Green Park has a lot of places to eat, but we’re glad people still come to see us at Sri Aurbindo Marg A 3. The doors stay open every day. There’s no big secret to what we do, just cooking and serving. Hope to see you around sometime. A few tables are likely free right now. We usually close up once the food runs out. Sometimes we stay later if it is busy.
