Computer Operator

I'm usually here at 18/60 Lakphat Colony Part-II in the Meethapur Extension area. It’s right around Badarpur. The shop isn't huge, just enough for the computers and some chairs for people waiting. I started this because I knew my way around a keyboard and realized folks in New Delhi 110044 needed help with their forms and emails. It gets quite dusty around here sometimes with the traffic outside, but we keep the machines running. I spend most of my day typing out documents or looking up stuff for neighbors who aren't too comfortable with the internet. Sometimes the power goes out, which is annoying, but that's just how it is. My desk is a bit messy with papers, but I know where everything is. People stop by on their way home from work to get things printed or scanned. It’s a quiet life mostly. I don’t really have a big team or anything, just me doing the work. Usually, I’m here from early morning until the sun goes down. If the door is open, it means I’m ready to work. It feels good to be part of the local street here. I've lived in this part of Delhi for a long time now. It’s not fancy, but the computers work fine. I just try to get the tasks done so people can go about their day. Nothing more to it, really. Just a guy and his screens in the middle of Meethapur Extension. I usually have tea in the afternoon while I finish up the spreadsheets.
