Colour Blends

We’re up on the second floor at E-34 in Greater Kailash-I. It's a busy spot, but we like it here. Colour Blends isn't a massive operation with fancy receptionists. It’s just a few of us trying to get things right every day. We spend most of our time looking at shades and figuring out how stuff should look together. Sometimes it’s quiet, other times it’s a bit of a mess with all the samples lying around. People usually find us by word of mouth since we don't really do big ads. We started out small and stayed that way on purpose. There’s no big manual on how we do things. We just show up, look at the work, and get it done. The light in this building is pretty good in the afternoons, which helps when you're dealing with colours all day. We’ve had some long days here, especially when a project gets complicated, but that’s just how it goes. If you’re coming by, the stairs are a bit narrow, so just take your time. We keep the kettle going for most of the morning. It isn't a high-tech lab or anything like that. It’s just our workspace where we try to stay organized among the piles of paper and swatches. We know the neighborhood well now. We’ve seen shops come and go while we just keep plugging away at E-34. It’s a decent place to work and we’re happy to be here.
