Classic Paan Corner

Up on the first floor of Flat No 72 D in SD Pocket, you will find us. It’s a regular residential part of Dilshad Garden, so it doesn't feel like a typical shop environment. We have been running Classic Paan Corner from this spot for a while now. It is a bit different being on the first floor, as most people expect a little stall on the corner of the street, but we make it work. The SD Pocket area is usually busy with people coming and going from their homes. You have to walk up the stairs to get to us. The space is small, just enough to keep all the leaves and the different fillings we use. It gets a bit crowded when a few people show up at once, but nobody seems to mind waiting a minute. We spend most of the day prepping everything, cleaning the leaves, and getting the mixtures ready. It is a simple life here in Dilshad Garden. We know a lot of the folks in the nearby flats. Sometimes the hallway smells like the sweet tobacco or the various spices we have laid out. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright neon lights. Just the basic setup at 72 D. It can be a bit quiet in the mornings, but by evening, there is usually someone knocking on the door or coming up the stairs to see what we have ready. It's just a small local thing we do.
