We are based in 811 43 Nehru Place, up in the Chiranjiv Towers. If you know Delhi, you know how busy Nehru Place is. It is always crowded with people looking for electronics or fixing their computers. Being Chetra Machinery India Pvt Ltd in the middle of all that is interesting. We are on one of the higher floors, so we get a decent view of the rooftops and the traffic below. The elevators are usually packed, so we try not to leave the office too often during the day. Our space is filled with technical manuals and spare parts for the machines we handle. It can get a bit cramped when a big shipment of components arrives. We spend most of our time answering emails or talking to customers about their equipment needs. It’s a loud area, but inside the tower, it’s a bit more manageable. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for making tea and coffee. The carpet is a bit worn out from all the walking back and forth. We don't have any marketing people or slick presentations. We just know our machinery and try to help people figure out what parts they need. It’s a lot of technical talk and looking at diagrams all day long. Sometimes we stay late when a client has a breakdown that needs immediate attention from our small team.
