Our office is tucked away at F-50, Khanpur, right behind the bus depot here in New Delhi. Being near the depot means there is always noise and people moving around, which keeps things interesting. Ce Infosystem Pvt. Ltd does a lot of technical work with maps and data, but if you walked into our room, you’d just see a group of people focused on their monitors. We’ve got some old chairs and a coffee machine that works when it feels like it. Khanpur is a tight-knit area, and we’ve gotten to know the shopkeepers nearby pretty well. It’s not a shiny glass building like you see in the movies. It’s a practical space where we get our tasks finished. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. We don’t use big words to describe what we do. We just handle the information and make sure the systems are running right. Most of us take the bus or ride bikes to get here since the depot is right there. It’s a simple setup. We don't spend much on decorations because we’re too busy with the work itself. It feels like a second home to most of the staff after all these years. We aren't doing anything fancy, just keeping the data moving in the middle of Delhi.
