Our office is over at B-65 in New Friends Colony. It’s specifically in the Friends Colony West area of Delhi. Psychiatry is a quiet kind of work, so being in a residential neighborhood like this actually works out quite well for us. It stays relatively calm compared to the main roads. We’ve been operating out of this building for a while now. People come here for all sorts of mental health concerns. Sometimes it’s just someone feeling low, and other times it’s more complicated stuff. We don't make a big show of things. The entrance is simple. We know that coming to see a psychiatrist can be a bit stressful for some people, so we keep the atmosphere very normal. It’s just a room with some chairs and a desk. We see a lot of people from the local 110025 zip code. The schedule gets packed, especially in the afternoons. We try to stick to the times, but conversations sometimes run long. That’s just the nature of this kind of work. You can’t really rush people when they’re talking about their lives. We don't have any fancy brochures or anything. Most people find out about us through word of mouth or a referral from another doctor. It’s a small, straightforward practice. We just sit down, listen, and try to figure out a way forward for whoever walks through the door. It is just what we do every day.
