Over at 274 Sukhdev Vihar in New Delhi, you’ll find our office for Birla Technical Services. It’s a bit of a quieter part of the city compared to the big markets, which we actually prefer. We focus on the technical side of things here. Our day usually starts with a lot of emails and phone calls about different projects we have going on. It’s not a formal place; we often have technical manuals or drawings lying around on the desks. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting and figuring out how to make things work better for the projects. The team is small, so we all know each other’s habits. We aren't into big corporate speeches or long meetings that go nowhere. We just like to get our hands into the work and solve the problems that come our way. People sometimes drop by with questions about what we do, and we just sit down and talk it through with them over a cup of tea. The office has a lot of natural light, which is nice when you're staring at technical details all day long. We’ve been at this location for some time now, and it feels very familiar. We just do our job, handle the technicalities, and make sure everything stays on track. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of environment where the focus is just on the task at hand. We don't try to impress anyone with fancy furniture.
