Our place is B-257 in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-I. It’s a busy spot with lots of small factories and workshops all around us. You can usually hear the sound of welding or metal hitting metal from somewhere nearby. Our unit is pretty basic. We have a workshop area in the back and a small office space in the front. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. Most of us are in jeans and old shirts because there’s always something that needs to be moved or fixed. We have shelves full of boxes and parts that sometimes overflow into the walking paths. It’s a bit of a squeeze when a new shipment arrives, but we manage. We don't have a dedicated cleaning crew, so we just tidy up after ourselves when we have a spare minute. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we all go for a break in the afternoon. It’s a good chance to get out of the noise for a bit. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate values posted on the walls. We just know that the work needs to be done right so we can stay in business. It’s a tough, busy environment, but we’re a good group and we help each other out when things get hectic.
