Baskin Robbins

Our place is tucked away in Uday Park. It’s a nice enough neighborhood, mostly quiet compared to the other parts of the city that stay loud all night. We open Baskin Robbins every morning and the first thing you notice is the cold air coming from the storage units. It’s a small space, so we have to be very organized with how we move around. We spend a lot of time wiping down the tables and the glass tops where people lean. The address in Uday Park is easy for the locals to find when they are out for a walk. We get a lot of families walking over in the evenings once the sun finally goes down. There isn't much to the story of the shop, we just work here every day. We handle the tubs, check the temperatures, and wait for the next person to walk through the door. Sometimes the power goes out in the area and we have to worry about the backup generator kicking in. That's always a bit of a stress for us. The walls are bright but they probably need a new coat of paint pretty soon. We keep a stack of napkins ready and the spoons are always kept in their bins. You see the same faces every week, mostly people who live just a few streets away. It’s a steady pace and we don’t do much else.
