Azad Saloon

The shop sits right here on Madanpur Khadar Road. It is called Azad Saloon. We have been in this spot for a while now, near Lajjaram And Sons in the Sarita Vihar area of Delhi. If you look for Shop No 5 A, that is us. The space inside is not very big but we make it work with the chairs and mirrors we have. It gets a bit loud sometimes when the traffic picks up outside on the main road. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. We sweep the floor, clean the glass, and wait for people to stop in. There is always someone walking by going to the market or heading home. We see a lot of the same faces every week from around the neighborhood. It is a simple place where men come to sit for a bit and get their hair done. Sometimes the fan makes a little noise but it keeps the air moving. We try to keep things organized but with people coming in and out, it stays busy. You can find us easily if you know the landmark. It is just a regular local shop where we do our daily work. Nothing fancy about it. We just handle the hair and shaving for anyone who walks through the door.
