Ayaz Ahmed

My name is Ayaz Ahmed and I’m based at P 1 Ghaffar Manzil Ext, Part 2nd. This is in the Jamia Nagar area of New Delhi. It’s a very crowded and energetic part of the city. My place is tucked away in the extension, so it can be a little tricky to find if you aren't familiar with the lanes here. I’ve been at this address for several years now. It’s a mix of a living space and a small work area. I don’t have a fancy showroom or a big staff. It’s mostly just me taking care of things. The neighborhood is full of small businesses and students from the nearby university. There is always the sound of people talking and scooters zooming by. I like the energy of it. My work setup is pretty simple—just a sturdy desk, a good light, and my books. I try not to overcomplicate things. I take projects as they come and try to finish them on time. It’s a practical way to live. Sometimes I go down to the local market to grab some chai and talk to the other shop owners. We all know each other around Ghaffar Manzil. It’s a tight-knit community. Even though it’s in a big city like Delhi, it feels like a small village sometimes. I’m happy with how things are going here at P 1. I usually work late into the night when it is finally quiet.
