Being at Flat No 605 in Nehru Place puts us right in the thick of things. Everyone knows Nehru Place is the heart of the computer world in Delhi, so it made sense for Avp Technosoft Solutions Llp to be here. We are up on the 6th floor of building A 60. The elevators are usually packed, so we’ve learned to be patient or just take the stairs if we feel energetic. From our windows, you can see the constant movement of people buying parts and fixing laptops in the market below. We don’t sell hardware though; we work on the software side of things. It’s a small office, maybe a bit tight when everyone is in at the same time. There are cables everywhere and usually a stack of old manuals sitting in the corner. We didn’t spend a lot of money on interior design because we’d rather spend it on better monitors and faster internet. The team is a mix of people who have been in the industry for years and a few younger ones just starting out. We don’t have a boss who sits in a separate room; we all just sit together at a long table and get on with it. It’s busy, it’s a bit messy, and it’s loud, but that’s just Nehru Place for you. We’ve been here long enough that the tea stall guy downstairs knows exactly how we like our chai.
