August Matrix

August Matrix is run out of 6/13, Sabari Flats, over on Jawahar Street in K.K. Nagar. It is more of a quiet residential area compared to the main city center, which is nice because you don't get all that noise. The office is inside the flats, so it feels very much like a home. We have a couple of desks set up and some chairs for when people visit, though we don't get a huge amount of foot traffic. Most of our work is done on the phone or through emails. Being in K.K. Nagar means we have some good small eateries nearby for lunch. The building itself, Sabari Flats, is well-known in the street so people don't usually get lost finding us. We’ve been here for a bit now and the routine is pretty much the same every day. We start early, get the fans going because it gets quite warm, and start going through the list of things to do. It’s a small operation here. We don’t have fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a place where we sit and handle our matrix of tasks. Sometimes the neighbors chat in the hallway, and it gives the whole place a very local feel. We like it that way. It’s not corporate or stiff at all. We just focus on our work and try to stay organized among all the paperwork.
