Being in GK-II means there’s always something happening right outside the door, with people shopping and cars trying to squeeze into tiny parking spots. Our office is up the stairs, away from the street level. It’s a bit of an old-school setup. We have heavy wooden doors and some filing cabinets that have been there since we moved in. It’s not one of those open-plan offices with bean bags. We have real desks and a lot of technical manuals lying around because of the "chem" side of our name. The windows look out over the market, so we get to see the daily rush of the city while we work on our projects. It can get a bit noisy when the market is at its busiest, but you get used to it after a week or two. We handle a lot of the business side of things from here, making calls and sorting out the technical details. There isn’t much room for anything extra, so every corner is used for something important. We don’t go in for big presentations or trying to look like a massive corporation. We’re just a private company working from a first-floor office in a busy market. We do our work, deal with the occasional power cut, and keep things moving as best we can.
