Attraction Saloon

Our Attraction Saloon is situated at G-56 in the Shaheen Bagh area of Jamia Nagar. It’s a busy neighborhood and our shop fits right in with the rest of the storefronts on the street. We have a few stations set up for hair and skin work. The space is a bit narrow, so we have to be careful not to bump into each other when the shop is full of customers. We use basic equipment that we've had for quite a while now. Every morning, we open up the front shutters, turn on the lights, and start getting the towels and the water ready for the day. There’s always a bit of dust from the street that finds its way inside, so we are constantly wiping down the counters and the mirrors. We see a lot of students and families from around Jamia Nagar coming in. It’s a casual environment where you can just walk in and wait your turn on the bench. We don't have a website or any fancy booking system, people just know we are here at G-56. The chairs are a little old and the upholstery is thinning, but they are still comfortable enough for a quick cut. We keep the scissors oiled and the combs clean in the back room. Sometimes it gets loud with the sounds from the street and the horns honking, but that’s just part of being in this area. We just focus on the work in front of us and try to keep things moving along throughout the day until it's time to close up.
