Attraction Beauty Saloon

Attraction Beauty Saloon is right on the Main Road in Kalkaji Extension, very close to the ICICI Bank. If you’ve walked down J-108, you’ve probably seen our sign. The shop is a decent size for the area. We have some comfortable chairs and the air conditioning works okay most of the time, which is a relief when the Delhi heat gets bad outside. The floor is tiled and we spend a lot of our day with a broom in hand because the hair really piles up after a few hours of work. We get a lot of people who are just passing by after doing their banking or running errands. It’s not a place where you’ll find anything too glamorous, just the standard equipment and a few bottles of shampoo and cream lined up on the counter. We’ve got a small area where you can sit if we are already busy with someone else. Most of the time, the radio is playing softly in the background just to fill the silence. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the shears and the thread. It’s a straightforward job and we like the rhythm of it. Each day is about the same, from the moment we unlock the door in the morning until we turn off the lights and go home in the evening.
