Ashiyana Hair Cut Saloon

Our salon is located in the Ashiyana Building in Mehrauli, Delhi, right in Ward Number 2. If you are near the Hanuman Mandir, you are basically right there. This part of Delhi is very old and the streets are narrow and full of history. We are on the ground floor and we mostly do hair cutting for the men and kids in the locality. The shop has been here for years, and the building itself has a lot of character. We have the traditional salon chairs and big mirrors that show every detail. It’s often quite loud outside with the temple bells and the people walking by, but we are used to it. Inside, it’s just the sound of the clippers and the ceiling fan spinning around. We don't have air conditioning, so we keep the door open to let the breeze in when it’s not too dusty outside. Mehrauli is a busy place, but our shop feels like a little bit of a hangout for the locals. People come in not just for a haircut but to talk about what’s going on in the neighborhood. We keep things simple and don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s just a honest place to get your hair fixed up while you’re out running errands near the temple.
