Ashi Tax

Our office is in Greater Kailash II, specifically at M 10102. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of shops and people always on the go. Tax work isn't exactly the most thrilling thing to do, but we’ve been doing it here for quite some time now. The office is basically just a few desks covered in folders and a lot of calculators lying around. We spend most of our time looking at forms and trying to make sense of the new rules that seem to change every year. It’s a lot of sitting and typing, which can get a bit tiring. We have a small tea boy who comes by twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon. Clients come in with bags full of receipts and look stressed out, so we just try to sort through the mess one paper at a time. The office isn't anything special to look at—just white walls and some old filing cabinets that squeak when you open them. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; people just sort of find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby in GK II. It's a steady job and we keep the doors open from ten to six. Sometimes during tax season, we’re here much later, eating dinner at our desks while we finish up the filings.
