Aroma Unisex Saloon

Our shop is Shop No. 86 in Humayun Pur, right in the Safdarjung Enclave area of Delhi. Aroma Unisex Saloon is a small place, but we make the most of the space we have. Delhi is always moving fast, and this neighborhood is no different. We open up early and stay open late because people around here have busy schedules. The shop has the basic things you’d expect—chairs, sinks, and a lot of different products on the shelves. We spend a good amount of time cleaning and making sure everything is ready for the next day. It’s a lot of manual work, and we do it ourselves. We don't have any fancy mission statements; we just show up and cut hair or do whatever else needs doing. The street outside can be quite narrow, so it’s always lively with people and scooters passing by. We know most of the shopkeepers nearby, and we often get tea from the stall down the road. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when three or four people are waiting, so we just have a few stools for them to sit on. It’s a simple life running a salon in Safdarjung. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay as long as people keep coming through the door.
