Anwar Saloon

My saloon is located at 179, Gali No-2, in the Tughlakabad Extension area of Delhi. It’s a small shop where I’ve been cutting hair for a long time. People around here know me. It’s a straightforward place with a couple of chairs and some basic tools. I don't have a big team or any fancy equipment. It’s just me and sometimes a helper when it gets busy. Most of my customers are men from the neighborhood who just want a quick trim or a shave before work. Tughlakabad Extension is a crowded place, and Gali No-2 is no different. There’s always something happening outside the door. I try to keep the shop clean, but with hair and people coming in and out, it’s a constant task. We don’t have a website or anything like that. You just walk in and wait your turn. I like talking to the customers about what’s going on in the city while I work. It’s a simple life. I open early in the morning and stay until the last customer is done. I've seen kids grow up and start bringing their own children here for their first haircut. It’s just a local barbershop doing what we’ve always done. We don't need much to keep going, just a sharp pair of scissors and a friendly face for the neighbors.
