Anish Gupta

Anish Gupta is the name on the door here at B-1/9 in Hauz Khas. New Delhi is a huge place, but this little corner is where we have set up shop. The zip code is 110016. Hauz Khas is a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it, but it’s a lively place to be. We work out of this office every day, handling whatever comes across the desk. It is not some sleek corporate headquarters. It’s just a functional space with desks, some chairs, and way too many stacks of paper. We spend our time answering calls and trying to keep everything organized. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard to hear, but we make do. We are just a small group trying to run things properly. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just show up and do the work because that is what pays the bills. It gets hot in Delhi, so the air conditioner is usually running full blast in the summer. We are pretty straightforward about how we do things. If something is broken, we fix it. If a job needs doing, we do it. It’s just a normal office life in the heart of the city. We don't try to impress anyone, we just stay busy with our tasks and hope the day goes smoothly.
