We are up here on the third floor of Ansal Plaza in B Block. If you know New Delhi, you know how busy Khelgaon Marg gets, especially during the evenings when everyone is out. Our space in B 305-306 isn't tucked away too much, but it feels a bit quieter once you get inside and sit down. Most days it is just us working on hair or doing makeup for people who have events to go to nearby. It’s not a huge place but we have enough chairs for everyone. Sometimes the lights get a bit bright and the hair dryers make a lot of noise, but that is just how a salon is. We’ve got mirrors all along the walls and there is usually some coffee or water if you're waiting. It gets a bit dusty because of the mall traffic but we try to keep it tidy. People come in from all over Delhi because the location is easy to find once you are in the plaza. We don't do anything too fancy with the decor, just simple stuff that works for us and the people who come by. It can be a bit frantic on Saturdays when the appointments pile up, but usually, it's a steady flow of regulars. We just focus on the work at hand and making sure nobody leaves looking like a mess.
