We operate out of Flat No 9 in Laxmi Apartment, which is at 263 3 in Mehrauli. It’s a bit different working out of an apartment building compared to a big glass office block, but we prefer it this way. Being in Ward No 2 gives us a chance to be part of the actual neighborhood. Mehrauli is such an old and crowded place, and sometimes just getting the mail can be an adventure through the narrow lanes. The flat itself is comfortable enough, though we’ve had to get creative with how we cram all the hardware and desks into the rooms. We mostly keep to ourselves and try not to bother the neighbors too much. The view from the balcony isn't much, just other buildings and some laundry hanging out, but it’s nice to stand out there for a minute when the work gets stressful. We don’t have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just come in, sit at our desks in Mehrauli 110030, and work on whatever software projects are on the schedule for the week. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living and working in this part of Delhi. It’s a humble setup, but it’s where we do our best work without any of that polished corporate attitude you see elsewhere.
