Aiims Hospital

We are located at AIIMS, which most people around here already know. It’s a huge place and it’s always crowded. We’ve been part of this institution for a long time. There are people coming from all over the country to get seen here. It can be overwhelming with the sheer number of patients in the hallways and waiting areas. We just try to get through the day and help as many people as possible. It’s not a quiet or polished environment. It’s loud, busy, and sometimes a bit chaotic. We don't have time for fancy talk or corporate slogans. We just focus on the medical tasks at hand. Every day is different, but the crowds are always there. You see people waiting on the grass outside and lining up early in the morning. We work long hours and it can be tiring. The building is old in some parts and newer in others. We just move between the wards and clinics as needed. There’s no need to explain what we do because everyone knows AIIMS. It’s a major part of the city’s landscape. We just do our bit in this massive system. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we just take it one patient at a time. It’s a very practical place to work, even if it feels a bit much sometimes. We are just here doing the job. We keep going because that is what is needed.
