We are tucked away in the NDMC market at Yusuf Sarai, specifically at shop number 7. If you come by Aggarwal Paneer Bhandar in the morning, you’ll smell the milk and see the crates stacked up. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in here. We’ve been doing this for years, mostly focusing on paneer and other dairy things people need for their daily cooking. It’s a damp kind of work, always cleaning up water and making sure everything stays cold. The market gets very busy with people doing their grocery shopping, so we have to be quick. We don’t have a website or a marketing team; we just have our counter and the fresh stock that comes in every day. Sometimes we run out of paneer by the evening and have to tell people to come back tomorrow. It’s honest work. Our hands are usually busy weighing blocks of paneer or bagging up curd. We know the regulars by their voices now. We don’t use any fancy packaging, just the standard stuff. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a rattling noise, but we stopped noticing it years ago. It’s just us and the dairy products, trying to keep up with the neighborhood's appetite. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us on our feet from early morning until the market shuts down at night.
