Nehru Place is a crazy place to work, honestly. We are in Bhandari House, room 209, at number 91. If you’ve ever been here, you know how crowded it gets with people selling everything from cables to high-end servers. A. A. Infoways has been tucked away in this building for a few years now. It’s always loud outside with people shouting and carts moving around. Inside, we try to keep it a bit quieter so we can actually focus on the software and networking tasks we handle. There are wires everywhere, dangling from the ceiling and tucked under the desks. We have four people working here, and it gets pretty tight when everyone is in at the same time. The coffee machine broke last month, so now we just go down to the street vendor. Bhandari House is one of those old buildings that has a lot of character, but the stairs are narrow. We deal with a lot of corporate clients who need their systems sorted out, but we also help whoever walks through the door. It’s a fast-paced environment, and you have to be quick on your feet. Some days I feel like I’ve spent ten hours just looking at code or troubleshooting connections. By the time evening rolls around, I’m ready to head home and get away from the screens for a while. It’s just the life of a tech worker in the city.
