Spry Export

We are based out in South Kumra Khali, which falls under the Narendrapur post office and Sonarpur police station area. It is a bit of a trek from the main city center, which means it is a little quieter around here. We deal with exports, so there is always a lot of paperwork and boxes moving in and out. The office isn't anything special, just some desks and a lot of filing cabinets for all the shipping documents. Sometimes the trucks have trouble finding the turn-off, and we have to go out to the road to wave them in. It can be stressful when a shipment is running late or the weather gets bad and slows everything down. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking on where things are. The area has a lot of trees around it, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the computer screen. We usually bring our lunch from home and eat together in the small break area. It is a small team here, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from packing boxes to talking to the customs people. It isn't a glamorous business, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We keep a map pinned to the wall with some marks on it showing where the latest boxes are headed. The ink is fading on the older marks, but it still works.
