National Plastic Machinery Industry

National Plastic Machinery Industry is located out in Karbala on the Sonarpur Station Road. Being near the station means there is always a rhythm of trains passing by and people rushing to catch their rides. Our place is out towards Narendrapur, where it is a bit more spread out but still has that busy industrial energy. We work with plastic machinery, so there is usually a lot of clanging and the sound of metal hitting metal in our workspace. It is not the cleanest job in the world, and we often go home with our clothes smelling like the shop, but we do not mind it much. The building we are in is practical and built for heavy work. We do not spend money on fancy decorations or expensive signs. Most people find us because they know where the station road is and they have heard about the machines we handle. We have a small area for paperwork, but the real heart of the place is where the machines are. During the monsoon, the rain on the tin roof makes it hard to hear anything else, so we just focus on the tasks at hand. It is a local business through and through. We know the shopkeepers nearby and we often share a quick meal during the break. We just provide the machinery that people need and we keep the doors open six days a week.
