Maa Tilottama Tiles Bhander

Down in Vill- Bishnupur, near the coast, you will find Maa Tilottama Tiles Bhander. We are under the Sagar Coastal police station area and our post is Natendrapur. Being near the sea means the air is always a bit salty. We keep a variety of tiles here for the local houses. It is not a huge showroom like you see in the cities. It is more of a warehouse where things are stacked up. People from the village come in when they are fixing up their floors or bathrooms. We spend a lot of time moving heavy crates around. My back feels it some days, but that is how it is. We do not have a lot of staff, just me and a couple of boys from the neighborhood. We try to keep track of everything, but sometimes the inventory gets a bit mixed up in the corners. We just sort it out when a customer asks. It is a relaxed way of doing things, I suppose. The roads around Bishnupur can get muddy during the rains, which makes deliveries a bit of a headache. We have an old truck that we use for that. We are not looking to become some national chain. We just like serving the folks around Natendrapur and making sure they have what they need for their homes. It is a decent living and we get to talk to everyone. That is enough for us.
