Our shop, Tycoon Computers Pvt Ltd, takes up units 15 and 16 over at City Plaza on Old D C Road. Even though the name sounds a bit formal, we’re actually just a couple of guys who really understand how computers work. City Plaza is a well-known spot, so we get a good mix of people coming in. Some are students from nearby, others are just folks living in the city who need a quick fix. We’ve got two shops joined together, which gives us a bit more room to store spare parts and keep a few workbenches going at once. It’s usually a bit of a scramble in the mornings getting everything organized. We handle things like system upgrades, virus cleaning, and hardware repairs. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays. Most of our space is used for the actual repair work. The Old D C Road gets pretty crowded in the evenings, so that’s usually when we’re busiest. We just sit there at the back of the shop, working through the pile of laptops that need attention. We’ve got a small fridge for water and a lot of screwdrivers of different sizes. It’s a straightforward business. We don't spend much time on the phone unless it's to tell someone their machine is ready. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood here at City Plaza.
