You can find us at No. 452-453 in the E.P.I.P. zone under H.S.I.I.D.C. It is an industrial area, so there are not many shops or parks around, just a lot of factories and big warehouses. We at Mehra Engineering Corporation spend our days inside these walls working on various mechanical parts. It is a lot of metal and grease most of the time. The floors are concrete and the ceilings are very high. It gets quite cold in the winters here, and we usually have a small heater going in the corner of the office. We do not really have customers walking in off the street because of where we are located. Most people come here specifically to talk about a job or a project they have. It is a quiet spot compared to the city center, which is nice for getting work done. We have a few guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than anyone else. We do not have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just focus on getting the dimensions right and making sure the parts fit like they should. It is a straightforward engineering shop. We have our routine: start early, take a lunch break together, and finish when the work is finished. Sometimes the power goes out in the industrial estate, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on.
