Nanda Mfg. Co.

Nanda Mfg. Co. is located right in Vishwa Karma Market on Railway Road. Being near the railway means there is always some noise and movement around us. Our workshop is where we make things, mostly out of metal or whatever the current project requires. The market is a busy place with lots of other shops, so there is a lot of back and forth between us and our neighbors. We have some old machines that still work perfectly and some newer ones too. The floor is usually covered in some kind of dust or metal shavings by the end of the shift. We aren't the type to wear suits to work. We wear clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. People come to Railway Road when they need something manufactured or fixed, and they usually find their way to us. It is a straightforward business. We don't have a marketing team or a social media page. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. We take pride in the fact that we can figure out how to make parts that are hard to find elsewhere. It is honest manufacturing work. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves, but that is just part of the job. We enjoy being in Vishwa Karma Market and seeing the trains pass by every now and then while we work. It’s just how things are.
