Rohit Engineering

Our workshop, Rohit Engineering, is located at M-77 in the MIDC Ambad area. If you’ve ever walked through Ambad, you know it’s full of the sounds of clanking metal and welding sparks. That is exactly what it’s like inside our gates too. We do a lot of fabrication and repair work for the bigger factories nearby. The floor is concrete and usually has a few oil stains that never really go away. We have a small team of guys who know their way around a welding torch and a grinder. It’s physical work and your hands are almost always dirty by ten in the morning. We don't have a fancy showroom or a website with polished photos. We just have our tools and our experience. When a job comes in, we look at the parts, figure out the best way to fix them, and get to it. Sometimes we have to hunt around for the right size of bolt or a specific piece of scrap metal to make a repair work. There’s a lot of shouting back and forth over the noise of the grinders, but we all understand each other. We take a break when the sun is at its highest and sit in the little patch of shade near the entrance. It’s a simple operation, but we take pride in the fact that the things we fix actually stay fixed.
