Baramati Engineering Pvt. Ltd. has its home over in the Cooperative Industrial Estate on Bhigwan Road. Being in an industrial area means there is always a lot of movement around us, trucks coming and going and other shops doing their own thing. We handle a lot of the heavy lifting and mechanical work that local projects require. It’s a practical space. We’ve got our tools and our machines laid out in a way that makes sense for the jobs we take on. It’s not a quiet place, but you get used to the sounds of metal and engines after a while. Most of the guys here have been doing this for years, so we just get on with it without much fuss. Bhigwan Road is a main stretch, so it’s easy for people to drop by when they have something that needs fixing or a part that needs fabricating. We don't spend much time on paperwork if we can help it; we’d much rather be out on the floor actually building something. The shop floor is where everything happens. Sometimes things get a bit messy when a big job comes in, but we clear it out once we're done. It’s just a straightforward engineering shop. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a job is going to take three days, we tell you it’ll take three days. No sense in making things sound more complicated than they really are.
