Thilagam Offset Printers

If you walk down Pksa Arumugam Road, you’ll find us at 9/4-B. We are pretty close to the ICICI Bank, which makes it easy for folks to explain where we are located. Thilagam Offset Printers is a place where you’ll always hear the sound of machines running. There is that specific smell of ink and paper that never really goes away, no matter how much we clean. It’s a small operation, mostly just a few of us making sure the presses are lined up right. The floor is usually covered with offcuts of paper and old proofs. We don’t have a big reception area or anything. People usually just walk right in and talk to whoever isn't busy with a machine. Sometimes the heat in the room gets a bit much when all the equipment is running at once, so we keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes off the street. It’s not the quietest job, but there’s something satisfying about seeing a stack of fresh prints at the end of the day. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a bit now, and we know most of the people on this block. It’s just a steady rhythm of work. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local print shop doing what needs to be done for the folks around here. Usually, someone is running late with an order, so there is always a bit of a rush going on.
