Our unit is located at 169/1 on AKP Middle Street. It’s a busy little area, and we’ve been tucked away here for a while. Inside, you’ll hear the constant rhythm of the cup-making machines. It’s a clicking and thumping sound that never really stops during the shift. We work with large rolls of paper that get fed into the machines and come out as finished cups on the other end. There are always stacks of cardboard boxes and plastic sleeves lying around. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit as much stock as possible into the space we have. Our workers are usually busy packing the cups into sleeves and taping up boxes for delivery. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone in a t-shirt covered in paper dust. We spend our time making sure the machines are oiled and the paper isn't jamming up. It’s simple work, but it requires us to be alert. The street outside is narrow, so loading the trucks can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We don't worry much about how the place looks to outsiders. We just focus on getting the daily production numbers met. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment where we just get the job done and go home.
