Sony Tech Indai

Sn Puram Road gets pretty busy during the day, and Sony Tech Indai at No.260 is right in the middle of it all here in Tiruthangal. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, just handling the daily technical work that comes our way. It’s not a fancy setup, mostly just tools, workbenches, and the sound of machines running. People know us by the sign out front and the fact that there’s usually someone inside tinkering with something. We deal with various tech components and industrial parts every day. Sometimes it’s quiet, but most mornings start with a lot of heavy lifting and sorting through inventory. The weather here can get quite hot, so the fans are always going while we work on the orders. It isn't always perfect, sometimes things take longer than expected because a part is stuck or the power goes out for a bit. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of tasks. Being in Tiruthangal means we see the same faces often, which is nice. We aren't trying to do anything world-changing, just trying to keep the operations running smoothly for the folks who need what we make. There's plenty of dust from the road, and the space is a bit cramped with all the equipment, but it works for us. We've got our routine down, from opening the shutters in the morning to locking up late at night. It’s just honest work and we stay focused on the tasks.
