Down here in the Ricco Industrial Area in Sarupganj, things are usually pretty dusty. That is just what happens when you work with marble and articles like we do at Rachi Marble. We are located in the Sirohi district, which is a place known for its stone. Our setup isn't anything too special to look at, just a regular workspace where we get things done. The sun gets really hot in this part of Rajasthan, so we try to do the heavy lifting in the earlier hours if we can. Handling marble is heavy work and it definitely keeps you on your toes. There are always pieces to move or orders to check on. Sometimes the machinery is loud and you have to shout to be heard, but that is part of the charm of an industrial zone. We have our regulars who come by, and sometimes people just stop in because they are passing through Sarupganj. We don't spend much on advertising or anything like that; we just rely on the work itself to keep things going. It’s a small team here, and we all know our roles pretty well by now. There is always a lot of cleaning to do at the end of the day because of all the stone scraps and dust. It isn’t a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We just stay busy and try to keep the workflow steady throughout the week.
