Yash Granites

We are out in the Ambaji Industrial Area at B-61, covering units 133A and 134A. Working with stone means there is always a layer of fine dust on everything, including our shoes. Yash Granites is mostly a yard where we keep the slabs stacked up. The sun hits the granite and shows off the patterns, which is probably the best part of the day. We have the big cranes and lifters to move the heavy pieces around because you can’t do much by hand here. The noise of the saws is a constant background sound. Our small office is just a place to sit down and do the bills, away from the noise for a minute. Ambaji is known for its stone, and being in this industrial patch means we are right in the middle of it. We spend our time checking the quality of the blocks and making sure the cuts are straight. It’s heavy work and it keeps us busy from morning till night. The yard is quite big, so we have plenty of room to move the trucks in for loading. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If someone needs granite, they come by, look at the slabs, and we talk about the price. It’s a basic business. The weather can be tough, especially when it rains and the yard gets muddy, but we just keep going. This is how we have always done things here.
