It is a bit of a drive out here, but we have plenty of space for all the marble and granite we keep in stock. The air is a bit fresher than in the city, though we still deal with plenty of stone dust. We have been working with these materials for quite some time. We don't go in for big advertisements or fancy talk. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of the blocks we get and making sure the polishing is done right. We have a small group of workers who know exactly what they are doing. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the yard a bit of a muddy mess, but we keep working through it. Customers usually come to us when they are building their own homes or working on a local project. We show them the different slabs and let them feel the texture for themselves. It is a very hands-on process. We don't use much technology here other than the machines for the stone. We keep our records in simple books and focus on the physical work. It’s a quiet life in Naroli, just cutting stone and loading trucks one after the other. We like it that way because it keeps things uncomplicated.
