We operate out of Survey No. 709/4/1 and 706 on the Bhilad Naroli Road. This is a large site because you need a lot of space when you are dealing with heavy granite and marble slabs. Millenium Granited & Marbels is mostly an open-air yard with some sheds for the machines. The road out front is usually busy with trucks carrying stone from the quarries. It is a dusty and noisy environment, but that is the nature of the stone business. We spend our days unloading massive blocks and cutting them down into sizes that people can actually use for their floors and counters. It is hard work and everyone here has calloused hands from moving the pieces around. We don't have a fancy office for meetings. If someone wants to see the stone, they just walk through the yard with us and we show them what we have in the current lot. The weather plays a big role in our day; if it rains, things get muddy and slow down. We just take it as it comes. Our focus is on the stone itself, making sure the cuts are decent and the slabs aren't cracked. It’s not a glamorous job, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a raw block turn into something useful for a building.
