Kalinga Stone

Our place, Kalinga Stone, is out at Survey No. 286 in Village Naroli. We are really close to the Naroli RTO Check Post, which is where all the big trucks have to stop. Because of that, there is always a lot of diesel smoke and the sound of engines idling nearby. It is a bit of a dusty location, but it works for what we do. We have a lot of stone stored on the lot, and it takes a lot of effort to keep everything sorted. We don't have a fancy front office or a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the gate is the one who talks to you. We spend most of our time out in the yard, checking the quality of the stone or helping load up a customer's vehicle. It is hard work, and your clothes get dirty pretty fast. Being near the check post means we see a lot of people passing through from different places. Naroli is a small village, but it feels busier because of the road traffic. We just do our thing every day. Some days are slow and we just sit around and talk, and other days we can't keep up with the work. We don't try to sound like a big company because we are just a local operation. We know stone and we know how to move it, and that is basically it. It is just how it is out here.
