We are located right near the Mahindra Two Wheeler Service Centre on the Eastern By Pass. It’s a busy spot with lots of traffic going by all day. At Sonai Metals, things are mostly made of iron, steel, and aluminum. You’ll see stacks of metal sheets and various lengths of pipes leaning against the walls. It’s a heavy kind of job. We spend a lot of time moving things around with gloves on because the edges can be sharp. There’s usually a bit of rust on the floor and the smell of metal in the air. People come to us when they need a piece of angle iron or some scrap for a small project they’re doing at home. We also deal with bigger orders for local builders. It’s a noisy place with the sound of metal clanging together, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't have any fancy brochures or a front desk. You just walk in, tell us what you're looking for, and we see if we have it in the back. Sometimes the yard gets a bit muddy when it rains, so you have to watch where you step. We’ve been working out of this spot on the bypass for a long time. It’s basic, honest work. We just focus on getting the metal cut or loaded up so people can get back to their jobs without any delay.
