Shakti Steel

Shakti Steel is in the Spectrum House Building on Sevoke Road. We’re right near the Axis Bank, which makes it easier for people to find us since the road is so long and busy. Sevoke Road is always packed with trucks and cars, so it’s a noisy place to be. Our space is filled with the smell of metal and the sound of things being moved around. We deal with a lot of steel supplies, so there’s always something heavy being loaded or unloaded nearby. The office inside the building is where we handle the billing and the phone calls. It’s a bit of a functional space, nothing too fancy. We have a few chairs for people to sit while they wait for their orders to be processed. The rain in this area can be quite heavy, and we often have to watch the yard to make sure everything stays dry enough. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how things work. We usually have lunch together in the back room and talk about the day's tasks. It’s a hard-working environment, and by the end of the day, we’re usually pretty tired. There’s always another truck coming in or another customer looking for specific steel rods. We just take it one day at a time here on Sevoke Road and try to keep things moving as smoothly as we possibly can for everyone.
