Our shop is right on Sevoke Road at Panitanki More, just beside the HDFC Bank. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always a lot of honking and people rushing around outside. We work on power systems, batteries, and all that kind of stuff that keeps the lights on when the grid goes out. The shop is usually full of heavy batteries and boxes of cables. It’s a bit of a workout moving them around every day. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time now. People know us as the guys who can help when their inverter stops working or they need a new backup system. We don't have a receptionist or anything, so if you come in, you’ll likely find one of us with grease on our hands or carrying a multimeter. We just tell it like it is. If a battery is dead, we tell you it’s dead. We don't try to sell people stuff they don't actually need. The heat can get pretty bad in the summer, and the shop doesn't stay very cool with the door open all the time, but we’re used to it. We take our lunch breaks when we can find a quiet moment. It’s a steady job and we like being right in the middle of the city where everything is happening. It gets dark early in the winter but the street lights are bright enough.
